Playground Exhibition

Optical Arts exhibited an installation Playground as part of Art Practice's PLAY exhibition for London Design Festival 2023. The installation was inspired by our recent short film, Playground.

The installation included a screening of our film, alongside a selection of prints, extracted from the film to showcase the design and quiet beauty of the featured structures. These designs were then also made into sculptural models that viewers could interact with. They were able to manipulate the shadows cast, the results of which could be seen through live projections of the models onto the wall in front of them.
