Ignis explores the complex relationship humanity has with fire and combustion. It encourages viewers to consider both the advances brought about by these reactions - namely the internal combustion engine - and the challenges they present, fostering a dialogue about sustainability and responsibility in our technological landscape.
By placing the beauty of internal combustion centre stage within delicate glass vessels, it transforms a fundamental chemical process into an artful exploration of fire, fragility, and the duality of progress.
